Van Driver - Multi-drop Deliveries
The Best Connection are an employment business hiring on behalf of our client in Bermondsey, a leading provider of electrical goods, is seeking a skilled Van Driver to join their dynamic team for multi-drop deliveries around central London. If you're a detail-oriented individual with a knack for safe and efficient deliveries, we want to hear from you!
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time 7:00 am, Finish time 4:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)
- Overtime available after 8 hours, Monday to Friday
Rates of Pay:
- Monday to Friday : £12.00 per hour - PAYE
- Overtime Pay : £18.00 per hour after 8 hours - PAYE
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting multi-drop deliveries of electrical goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Loading and unloading goods with care and attention to prevent damage.
- Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and in compliance with company standards.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery van.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and traffic regulations at all times.
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as a van driver, particularly in multi-drop deliveries.
- A valid and clean driver's license Cat B.
- Ability to handle electrical goods with care and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Central London and surrounding areas.
- Physical fitness for loading and unloading tasks.
