The Best Connection are seeking to recruit 3.5T Driver to work with their client in Shildon. Our client is a flooring retailer. They have a requirement for a day drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.

The role:

• This is a multi-drop role working in local areas with a typical day consisting of 10-20 deliveries with some manual handling involved.
• Drive safely, obeying the rules of the road and following the correct clients procedures
• To always adhere to Health & Safety Policies and procedures.
• Complete a daily vehicle and equipment pre-trip and post trip check using our clients reporting processes and systems.
• Ensure all customer delivery details are captured accurately via use of a PDA system

The candidate:

• Valid and in date driving licence.
• Maxiumum points 6
• Commercial driving experience desirable but not essential.

Hours of work:

• Start time is 06:30
• Tuesday to Friday
