Job: Van Driver

Location: Salford’s, RH1 5GJ

Pay: £12.50 ph

Contract: 12 week temp then permanent contract 

The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking temp to perm van drivers for one of our clients Salfords. The successful candidates will possess a current and valid Cat B driver’s licence. This is a customer facing role, with uniform provided and progression as an option. 

The role itself is a 70-30% split of driving to customers hours and delivering and installing white goods with a drivers mate. 

Hours off Work:

· Monday to Friday: 0730-17:00 but finish times may vary.

· Saturday (One per month, of which will be a half day)

Responsibilities of the Van Drivers:

· Delivery & fitting of kitchen appliances and white goods.

- High levels of customer service to ensure good are delivered and installed to customer specifications.

· Driving the provided 3.5 tonne Luton van safely and adhering to the rules of the road.

· Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle. Report any safety issues on standard reports.

· Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives.

· Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the CAT B Driver:

· Full UK Category B Licence.

· Previous van driving experience is desirable
