The Best Connection Reading is currently recruiting Ad Hoc Van Drivers to support a variety of clients across the Reading area.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with shifts available on an ad hoc basis throughout the week.

Pay Rates:

• £12.71 - £14.00 per hour, depending on the assignment.
• Weekly pay.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday.
• Ad hoc shifts depending on client requirements.
• Start times typically between 6:00am and 8:00am.
• Shift lengths and finish times will vary depending on the assignment.

The Role:

As an Ad Hoc Van Driver, your duties will include:

• Delivering a variety of goods to customers.
• Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle where required.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Completing any relevant delivery paperwork.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• A reliable, flexible and professional approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
