We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Operator to join our expanding logistics team based at a major contract site in St Albans. As an integral part of the team, this Transport Operator position will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and maintaining high compliance standards within the transport and logistics industry.

Transport Operator Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Management: Schedule and complete all compliance bookings within strict legal timelines.
  * Driver Allocation: Efficiently allocate drivers across our specialized logistics network and general haulage operations.
  * Performance Monitoring: Monitor and record daily driver performance indicators to ensure efficient logistics service delivery.
  * Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers to ensure task completion and total driving legal compliance.
  * Team Support: Assist the transport office team in adapting to new logistics contracts and customer requirements.
  * Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service through flexible and responsive logistical support.

Transport Operator Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience working directly as a Transport Operator or within a busy transport office environment is essential.
* Strong working knowledge of transport compliance, driver hours, regulations, and logistics operations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and debrief drivers effectively in St Albans.
* Quick to adapt to a busy environment and a flexible logistics schedule.

Transport Operator Benefits:
