Pay: £13.02 per hour (starting rate)
Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 06:00-18:00
• Friday: Worked one week in every two

About the Role

Our client is a large CNC machining specialist, expert in ultra‑high precision CNC milling of machine tool-type components weighing up to 20 tonnes. Their machining accuracy is to such a high standard that conventional finishing operations, including grinding and scraping, are completely eliminated.

The Best Connection - Walsall are recruiting on behalf of this client for a Trainee CNC Machinist to join their skilled and growing team.

What You'll Be Learning

• CNC milling of large, complex, high‑value components
• Working to exceptionally tight tolerances
• Precision machining techniques that remove the need for secondary finishing
• Safe operation of large CNC machines
• Understanding machine tool-type components and heavy engineering

Full training will be provided.

• Previous CNC or engineering experience beneficial but not essential
