Pay rate & Hours:

• £14 - £16 all standard hours
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 till 16:30

Responsibilities of the Tool Maker:

• Manufacture, maintain, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Operate manual and CNC machinery (milling, turning, grinding, etc.)
• Conduct tool trials and fault-finding
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure optimal tool performance
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping

Requirements of the Tool Maker:

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker
• Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and tool design
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Relevant trade qualification (preferred)
