The Best Connection are working in partnership with a well-established client in Wem, Shropshire, who are looking to add a Telehandler Driver to their team on an ongoing, temporary to permanent basis. This role is available for an immediate start and offers long-term stability for the right candidate.

You will be working within a busy timber yard and production setting, playing an important role in the daily movement and handling of materials, while maintaining high safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of a telehandler within the yard and production areas
• Transporting, stacking, and moving timber products
• Loading and unloading deliveries and finished goods
• Assisting production staff where required
• Carrying out general yard and labouring duties
• Ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and organised

Pay & Working Hours:

• £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (rate dependent on experience)
• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
• Flexibility required to support operational demands
• Average working week of 40-45 hours

• Wem, Shropshire (SY4 5SD)

Contract Type:

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Telehandler licence (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
