Job Role: Street Cleaning Operative

Location: Based in Carlisle

Working Hours: 06:00 till 14:00 or 08:00 till 16:00, Monday to Friday

Pay Hour: £12.21 per hour (£18.31 Saturday, £24.42 Sunday)

Induction Date: 23/02/2026

Due to the nature of the role, a driving licences is required.

Role Details:

• Assisting with the collection and sorting of recyclable commercial waste
• Pressure washing
• Emptying public bins
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
• Manual picking and sweeping

Requirements:

• Punctual and reliable
• Physically fit and able to work on your feet
• Previous waste or recycling experience is desirable but not essential
• Driving licence is required
