The Best Connection are currently seeking a Stores Operative to join a leading utilities company based in Kirkby in Ashfield!!

Job Summary:

• Issue and receipt of materials via a warehouse management system
• Daily stock count of materials
• First point of contact for customer queries and requests
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Control of process for non- stock & PPE items
• Housekeeping of working area
• Assist and support the Team Leader where necessary
• Working to site & contract specific SHESQ policies and procedures

Working Hours:

• 0700 - 1600, Monday - Friday (40 working hours per week)

Pay Rate: 

• £11.44 per hour

Experience:

• Knowledge of inventory stock management
• Excellent customer attitude
• Experience of working in a similar role
• Work on own initiative, proactive approach
• Keeping the stores / yard to a high standard of cleanliness and tidy
• A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations
• Computer literate
