The Best Connection are currently seeking a Stores Operative to join a leading utilities company based in Kirkby in Ashfield!!
Job Summary:
- Issue and receipt of materials via a warehouse management system
- Daily stock count of materials
- First point of contact for customer queries and requests
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Control of process for non- stock & PPE items
- Housekeeping of working area
- Assist and support the Team Leader where necessary
- Working to site & contract specific SHESQ policies and procedures
Working Hours:
- 0700 - 1600, Monday - Friday (40 working hours per week)

Experience:
- Knowledge of inventory stock management
- Excellent customer attitude
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Work on own initiative, proactive approach
- Keeping the stores / yard to a high standard of cleanliness and tidy
- A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations
- Computer literate
