The Best Connection is looking for a Stores Person for our client in Goole. This is initially a temporary position but with a view to going permanent following a successful probation period

Responsibilities:

• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
• Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
• Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
• Updating inventory management systems regularly
• Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it

Requirements for the role:

• Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work methodically and quickly
• Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Teamwork skills and ability to work independently

Hours, Pay and Benefits:

• Rotating weekly shifts of Monday -Friday 7:00am- 15:30pm with an early finish of 13:00pm on a Friday. And Monday - Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm, 7:00am-13:00pm on Friday.
• 38 hours per week. (during training hours will be Monday -Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm, 8:00am-14:00pm on Friday)
• £13.49 per hour
• Permanent position following a successful probation period
