The Best Connection Group Limited are recruiting for a Store person with a FLT counterbalance license.
Location of the role: Birmingham
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the building industry, excellent customer service skills, and experience using a Forklift Counterbalance. If you have experience in the building industry & are looking for a new challenge then this might be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keyholder duties: You will be responsible for opening and locking up the premises each day, ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Customer Facing Role: Interacting with customers, providing excellent service, and assisting with any queries or orders.
- Sales and Record-Keeping: You will be responsible for selling building materials, processing sales transactions, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of all sales and stock.
- FLT Counterbalance: Safely operating the forklift to move materials around the yard and warehouse, ensuring the smooth running of stock movement.
- Product Knowledge: You will need a solid understanding of building materials and the ability to advise customers on suitable products for their needs.
Shift pattern
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
