We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our clients culinary team in St Mawes.
Shift Times:
- Breakfast shift 7am until 10:30am
- Evening Shift 2PM until 10PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in creating innovative and seasonal menus that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence and local ingredients.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimise profitability while minimising waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.
