The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a SMD Machine Operator for our busy manufacturing client based in Dartford.

This is a temporary role with opportunities for a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will start on 08:00 - 16:30 for training and then move to either late shift or night shift.

Shift times are:

• Late Shift 14:00 - 22:30
• Night Shift 22:00 - 06:30

Pay starts at £12.49 on training and then will increase to £13.82 on late shift and £15.82 on night shift.

Duties:

• Responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing

• Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, AOI equipment.

• Monitor and maintain equipment to meet company standards.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Maintain all housekeeping/safety regulations including the handling of hazardous materials.

We have an immediate start available for the right candidate. Previous machine operating experience would be necessary.
