The Best Connection are excited to be recruiting for a sheet metal worker on behalf of our client in Birmingham. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is looking for an on going position. A successful trial period will lead to a permanent position.

*Sheet Metal experience necessary*

The role will include:

• Compliance with all procedures and work instructions.
• Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents.
• Working with various types of materials such as Titanium, Stainless Steel and others.
• Helping support with any management needs.
•  Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities related to production activities.
•  Identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during production.
•  Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with the correct protocol.
   

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:

• Organised and precise
• Working well within a team but also on your own.
• Experience working with various types of metal.
• Having a can do attitude. 
• Punctual - Good time keeping is key.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Thursday
• 07:30am - 4pm. 3pm Finishes on a Friday.

Pay:

• £13 - £15
