Pay Rate: £12.71 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Fabricator on behalf of our established client based in the Kidderminster area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with the potential for an immediate start following a successful interview.

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Previous sheet metal fabrication experience is advantageous, however candidates with transferable skills from manufacturing, engineering, welding, assembly, or similar industries are encouraged to apply as training can be provided for the right person.

Key Duties

• Manufacture and assemble sheet metal products to customer specifications.
• Operate a range of workshop equipment, hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery.
• Carry out welding activities, including TIG welding where required.
• Work from engineering drawings and production instructions to ensure products are manufactured accurately.
• Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Assist with the assembly and fitting of finished components.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Follow health and safety procedures and help maintain a clean and organised work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous fabrication, engineering, manufacturing or assembly experience would be beneficial.
• TIG welding experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety.
