Sewing Machine Operator – Production Team Member

We are looking for a skilled/ semi skilled/ hobbyist Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team in manufacturing flexible insulation products.

About the Role

As part of our team, you will operate a variety of industrial sewing machines, including knitting machines and overlock machines, to produce high-quality sewn products. This role requires dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy industrial fabrics such as silicone-coated glass fabrics.

In addition to sewing, you will occasionally assist with other tasks, such as marking and cutting fabric, packing insulation products, and supporting general production duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various industrial sewing machines to produce quality products.
• Ensure products meet high-quality standards and customer expectations.
• Follow instructions and plan workload efficiently.
• Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines (changing needles, adjusting settings, cleaning/oiling).
• Support additional tasks such as fabric cutting, packing, and general production assistance.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in sewing, hemming, and using overlock machines.
• Background in sewing education (courses, school, etc.).
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive work attitude.

Job Details:

• Working Hours are Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM & Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Full-time, permanent position (39 hours per week)
• Occasional overtime available
