The Best Connection Mansfield are actively seeking Sewing Machinists with over-locking and lock stitch experience to work for our brand new client based in the Nottinghamshire area!!

Duties of the role:

• Following instructions for each sewing job.
• Making all or part of a garment or other fabric items.
• Using a range of machine programs and machines, such as over-lockers and lock stitch to carry out a range of tasks and produce different finishes.
• Will be using a sewing machine dealing with a variety of different fabrics.
• Keeping the factory clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure to be following all health and safety guidelines at all times.

Working hours:

• 08:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday

Pay:

• The pay rate will be discussed at the interview stage based on experience and completion of a skills test.

The ideal candidate we are looking for:

• Sewing experience is essential.
• Happy with doing repetitive work daily.
• High attention to detail is key.
• A candidate who is Versatile and can use their own initiative.
