Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our upholstery team, producing high-quality covers for bespoke and production sofas. The successful candidate will be responsible for sewing fabric, leather, and other upholstery materials to specification, ensuring accuracy, durability, and a high standard of finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble sofa covers and components
• Work from patterns, templates, and production drawings
• Ensure all stitching meets quality and durability standards
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Meet daily production targets.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an industrial sewing machinist (upholstery experience preferred)
• Ability to work with a range of fabrics and leather
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team Player
• Reliable transportation to/from work

Hours of work: 06.45-16.45 Monday to Thursday
