The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist/Seamstress for our client based in Rusper.

Due to location of site you will need to drive to get there - free parking on site

Role:

• You will be sewing together fabric covers for mattresses using a sewing machine.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm
• Friday - 8am to 3pm

Pay:

• £12.21 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience

Requirements for the role

• Th ideal candidate will previous experience as a seamstress/sewing machinist but it's not essential
• Sewing (with a machine) as a hobby is an advantage
• Sewed with various kinds of fabric 
• Has experience using a Brother Sewing Machine and Juki Overlockers 
• Orders received from the clients are usually in the form of measurements or templates so you will need good mathematical skills

• Act as an effective organiser, able to prioritise work when handling numerous orders and communicate progress against deadline
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and productive
• Good team spirit and natural ability to work with others whilst confident working independently
