The Best Connection are currently looking for a Customer Service/Sales Administrator to work at one of our clients in Darwen.
The hours are 0830-1700 Monday to Friday with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Starting pay is £11.50ph. These hours can be flexible.
Description of the position
Within their internal sales and customer service department, you will be responsible for the administrative processing of orders from receipt, to delivery, to customers. You will be the coordinator between the sales department and logistics.
The main tasks are:
- Manage a B to B customer portfolios
- Check data accuracy and processing orders in their ERP
- Answer incoming calls (technical requests, product pricing, availability, follow-up of orders…)
- Ensure that the products are well delivered
- Manage price requests, products return requests
- Follow-up of customers regarding unpaid invoices
- Update sales data in the ERP
- Provide occasional assistance to the Warehouse as and when required.
What we are looking for:
- Work experience in a similar position, eg. sales/warehouse administration or customer service is essential.
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office packages.
- Dynamism, organisational skills, relational skills, being proactive are your best assets to succeed in this role.
- IT/ computer skills are essential as the role is heavily based around this.
This position is currently for 1 year, but with company expansion, there may be a permanent position for the right candidate following a successful trial period.
