The Role
You'll be responsible for planning and optimising delivery routes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and optimise daily delivery routes
- Use route planning systems to maximise efficiency
- Factor in traffic, weather, and delivery windows
- Brief drivers on routes and schedules
- Monitor deliveries in real time and resolve issues quickly
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Analyse route performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport regulations
What We're Looking For
- Experience in transport planning or logistics coordination
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced workload
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
