The Best Connection (Newcastle) are looking to recruit a Recycling Operative  for our client based in Blyth. The business specialise in Waste Management. Their main focus is to recruit a punctual, hardworking Operative they can rely on to be trained up and use on a long term basis to operate on a permanent backshift. 

Duties will be:

•  
• Seperating plastics and metals on a conveyor belt
• To provide assistance in the Yard and Factory
• Repetitive duties
• Working to strict targets and deadlines
• General housekeeping duties 

The ideal candidate:

• Experience of working in a fast paced work environment
• Comfortable with heavy lifting as materials can weigh over 20kg 
• Ability to work well within a team and use own initiative while working alone 
• Reliable, punctual and hard working 

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• Backshift 2:00pm - 12:30am
• 40 hours per week
• Ongoing work available all year round
• Potential to be permanent for the right candidate 
• Potential for FLT training for the right candidate

Pay rates:

• £11.44 per hour (PAYE)
