Recycling Operative - Various locations; Tavistock, Okehampton

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Recycling Operative. This role involves supporting kerbside recycling collections and waste disposal services, helping to ensure efficient and environmentally responsible operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and load recyclable materials and waste from residential and commercial properties.
• Assist with kerbside recycling collections, ensuring correct segregation of materials.
• Work safely around collection vehicles and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with members of the public.
• Maintain cleanliness and report any issues or hazards promptly.

Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Pay Rates:

£12.21 p/h

Shift Schedule:

07:00 to 15:00 - Monday to Friday
