We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a busy recycling facility in the outer Hartlepool area. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.

Location: Hartlepool, TS27 (Rural Location, not accessible by public transport)

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Overtime: £19.07 per hour after 42.5 hours

Hours: Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern:

• 6:00am - 3:00pm
• 9:00am - 6:00pm

The Role

• Unpacking expired food products from supermarkets and charities
• Processing food waste for recycling
• Working towards daily targets and production requirements
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual
• Responsible and able to work independently
• Competent and willing to learn
• Able to work efficiently to targets
• Available to work Monday to Friday on a full-time basis

• This role is based in a rural location, so access to transport may be beneficial.
• The role involves handling expired food products as part of the recycling process.
