Job Title: Recycling Operative

Salary: £11.44 (£12.44 on Saturdays)

Shift Pattern: Tuesday- Saturday

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking operative to join our team. you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading items onto and off the conveyor belts.
• Processing: Organize and prepare materials for processing, ensuring all items are properly handled.
• General Labouring: Assist with basic manual tasks, including moving containers, cleaning workspaces, and maintaining equipment.
• Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to meet daily production goals and ensure the recycling line runs smoothly.

Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy items, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on sorting materials correctly and ensuring the quality of the recycling process.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a good attendance record.
• Health and Safety Awareness: A commitment to following safety procedures and protocols.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
