Recycling Operative - Night Shift

Location: Leeds, LS9

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 7:00pm to 7:00am

Hours: 45 hours per week

Pay Rate: £16.82 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

About the Role

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join our client's busy recycling facility on a night shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Working within a busy recycling yard that serves both members of the public and commercial customers.
• Assisting with the unloading and sorting of scrap materials.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Consolidating and managing debris across the yard.
• Supporting the wider team with a variety of operational tasks as required.
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to undertake physical duties.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
