We are currently looking for Quality and health and safety assistant to join our client in Coventry, this is a temporary to permanent position following a succesful trial period.

Monday - Friday 

07.30 - 16.00

Pay rate is £17.00 phr

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure quality processes follow ISO:9001, customer requirements, and feasibility studies.
Perform inspections at all stages of production.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment (5S).
Run and edit CMM programs.
Manage non-conforming products and report issues.
Assist in the application of automotive quality tools and best practices.
Monitor supplier performance and customer satisfaction.
Support quality improvements and audits.

Required Skills:

HNC/HND in mechanical or quality fields.
Experience in automotive quality control and CMM programming.
Knowledge of ISO:9001, GD&T, and mechanical measurement tools.
Strong Excel skills for data analysis.

Health & Safety Manager’s Assistant

Mission:
Assist the Health & Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform risk assessments (COSHH, general activities).
Conduct safety audits and ensure assessments are up to date.
Assist with employee training and health surveillance.
Participate in Health & Safety meetings.

Required Skills:

Experience in risk assessments and safety audits.
Basic knowledge of health & safety in precision engineering.
Good communication and IT skills.
