Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant to start immediately that will become permanent on completion of a successful trial period.

The job involves, ensuring all ingredients are appropriately risk assessed, maintaining supplier approval procedure ensuring all relevant documentation is up to date, to assist in hygiene and GMP audits, ensure all manufactured products meet required quality standards, ensure due diligence assessments and validations are undertaken, to raise no-conformances and follow up on agreed actions, ensure all equipment used throughout the factory is controlled, monitored and suitable for use, maintenance of the shelf life and quality assessment sample library, assist investigations of quality related customer complaints where required and undertake any other duties as may be required within the scope of the post including providing support to the Quality Assurance and Technical C0-Ordinators.

Full training will be given on the day shift hours (08:00 to 17:00) and once fully trained the role will move to more of an evening shift (14:00 to 22:00)

Days of work are Monday to Friday.

Times of work:-  08:00 to 17:00 then moving onto 14:00 to 22:00 following full training.

Rate of Pay:-  £12.50ph for day dayshift with an increase after full training has been completed and will include a shift allowance for evening work.
