The Best Connection Group - Manchester are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for our client based in Manchester on a short term contract finishing at the end of June.

Hours

Monday to Friday

9am - 5pm

Rate

£13.50 - £16.00 dependant on experience

Role

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Matching, batching invoices within the purchase ledger system
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Supporting weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Liaising with internal departments including purchasing, operations and logistics

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable roles
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes of financial transactions
  • Comfortable on Excel
  • Ideally have worked on Oracle

Location of the role :

This can be a remote role of office based

Strong communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal teams is an essential part of your role
