The Best Connection - Punch & Brake Press Setters & Programmers (Night Shift) - Telford

The Best Connection is currently looking for Punch and Brake Press Setters and Programmers for the night shift at one of our clients in Telford.

Duties Include:

• Setting and operating punch or press brake machines
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Creating and managing part drawings
• Selecting the correct tooling for each job
• Working with thin gauge materials, including aluminium and stainless steel
• Following standard operating procedures
• Checking the quality of parts produced
• Maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards for both machine and work area
• Performing other duties as required by the Shift Manager

Candidate Requirements:

• Experienced CNC Punch Programmer, Setter, and Operator - minimum of 3 years' experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Capable of following processes and producing work to quality and safety standards
• Good problem-solving skills
• Self-driven and motivated

Hours: Night Shift - Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week

Pay: Depending on experience, between £14 - £17 per hour
