Production Operative - Littleborough

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Production/Laminator to join a production team where you'll work closely with a partner to create high-quality fiberglass units for a small, family-owned business that values your ongoing training and development.

Working Hours:

40 hours per week
Monday to Wednesday: 08:00 - 16:30
Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
Friday: 07:00 - 15:00

Compensation:

Starting pay: £12.10 per hour
Increased to £12.40 after 6 weeks
Increased to £12.90 after 12 weeks
Potential to earn up to £14.50 per hour with experience
Overtime rates available at time and a half for hours over 40 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and clean molds
• Apply gel coats
• Paint solvent onto products
• Strip molds using a scraper
• Work with products that can be up to 3 meters long, requiring physical flexibility and stretching
• Handle both woven and non-woven materials

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working with strong solvent odors (masks provided)
• Ideally suited for those who enjoy craftsmanship and take pride in their work
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A passion for painting goods
• Physical fitness and flexibility are essential
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
