Production Operative

Location: NR10 5NL

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30, £12.71 PER HOUR

Contract: Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you practical, hands-on, and enjoy working on something different every day?

We're recruiting for a Production Operative to join a specialist team manufacturing bespoke wooden export packaging for large and often unique items being shipped around the world. This isn't a repetitive production line role.

Every project is different, offering the opportunity to work on custom-made packaging solutions for a wide range of products and industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building bespoke wooden crates, cases and export packaging
• Measuring, cutting and assembling timber to customer specifications
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Reading basic drawings and working from production instructions
• Working as part of a skilled production team to meet customer deadlines
• Maintaining quality standards and a safe working environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience using hand and power tools is essential
• Previous experience in carpentry, joinery, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a production environment would be highly advantageous
• Good practical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work from measurements and follow instructions accurately
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and hardworking approach
