The Best Connection Group LTD is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join a unique manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the processing, weighing, packaging, and preparation of glass powder products to meet customer and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Weighing and bagging glass powder into 25kg bags
• Palletising and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Operating ball mills to grind raw materials
• Sieving and processing ground products to specification
• Sampling finished products for internal quality testing
• Completing production and quality paperwork accurately
• Working in high temperatures when glass manufacturing
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety
• Following company procedures and health & safety regulation

Shifts & Pay

Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:15
Friday 06:00 - 12:30
£13.00 rising to £13.58 once training period is complete.
Temporary to Permanent opportunity

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred (e.g pot banks, kiln worker, glass manufacturing)
• Ability to handle manual work and lift 25kg bags safely
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to complete paperwork clearly and correctly
• Comfortable working as part of a team and independently
• Comfortable working in high temperature environments
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
