Hours: Flexible across all shifts | 6:00am-2:45pm, 9:00am-5:45pm, 2:30pm-10:30pm | 5 days out of 7

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy food manufacturing site based in Mitcham.

This role will involve working on a fast-paced production line, assisting with the preparation, assembly, and packaging of food products while ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety are maintained at all times.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for candidates with production or factory experience looking for long-term work.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a production line preparing and packaging food products
• Handle ingredients and assist with basic food preparation
• Pack, label, and check products ready for dispatch
• Carry out quality checks to ensure product standards are met
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and production areas
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Support other areas of the production process as required

Requirements

• Previous production or factory experience preferred (food experience advantageous)
• Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good English communication skills
• Comfortable with standing for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Team player with good attention to detail
