The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Production Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence for our client based in Frimley. This position is on 12 week a temp-perm basis for the right candidate.
The role requires candidates who are happy with handling raw meats and other food ingredients within a temperature controlled environment.
Hours:
- 0600-1600
- Monday to Friday
Pay:
- £13.50ph
- After 45 hours and Saturday paid at time and a half - £20.25ph
Responsibilities of a Production Operative/FLT driver:
- Assisting in the preparation of finished fresh products, prepare and/or packing treats.
- This may include working with a variety of raw materials (loading into the production area, cutting, trimming and other production processing operations), placing lids, sleeving either individual or twin tubs, placing finished tubs in to crates, stacking crates on to pallets.
- Assisting with the wash down of the production area, including equipment, tools, and parts.
- You will help with loading and unloading of deliveries using a Counterbalance Forklift.
- May be asked to pack stock and orders into boxes, seal, label, and stack on to pallets.
Requirements of Production Operative/FLT driver:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Happy working with raw meat
- Happy to work in a cold environment.
- Attention to detail
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Hard working
