The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for a busy client of ours based in Ashford, Kent.

Pay:£11.44-£11.75

Shifts: 

M-F 07:00- 15:00/ 08:00-16:00

Valid Counterbalance Forklift License Desired but not Essential.

Job Description:

The role of this position is to run one, two or three of the machines in the production department, the bottling line, the disgorging line and the labelling machine. As a Production Operative you will need to be diligent, an eye for detail and self-starting in a fast paced, high tempo production environment. They must be willing to learn, as well as train in a wide array of skill sets and job functions. You must also be happy to do heavy lifting and manual work when needed.

Reporting and Communications:

• You will report to Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager
• Internal: Assistant Production Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager.

Production activities:

• Maintain a clean and organised working environment in the Production Department
• Set up and run one of, if not more, the bottling line, disgorging line and labelling line.
• Clean and maintain their respective line/machines and workplace areas.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks/shipments.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Procedures and protocols:

• Follow Health and Safety protocols.
• Ensure QC procedures are followed.
• Learn and regularly review the three part job descriptions for each relevant work station.
• Assist training new Production Hands/Operatives.
