Our client, a thriving e-commerce business in the confectionary industry is recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join its growing team. Joining the business on the cusp of expansion the successful candidate will play a key part in scaling the existing systems and driving innovation for years to come. 

Salary & Working Hours 

• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Dependent on experience + discretionary annual bonus 
• Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm  

Main Responsibilities 

• Bridging the gap between the Operations Manager and the Production Team 
• Leading and managing the performance of a small team (10 employees) 
• Ensuring that all customer orders are prepared and dispatched to the highest standards
• Ordering and managing stock levels 
• Foster an excellent working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration to achieve an excellent level of service 
• Delivering staff coaching and reviews 
• Continuous improvement of processes 

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a Logistics / Manufacturing operation (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills (Essential) 
• Experience developing and coaching a growing team (Essential)
• A mindset for growth and a hunger to exceed set objectives (Essential)
• Professional Qualifications in Food Hygiene / People Management (Desirable)
