The Best Connection Currently seeking Production Shift Manger for a Technology Recycling Company based in the Huddersfield area.

Hours of work Mon to Fri 0600-1430 / 1400-2230 rotating weekly

Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manger 

• Open / close the site and carry out daily inspections
• Arrange produce and document shift patterns
• Plan and communicate work plans effectively to your teams 
• Work to KPI's
• Manage and flex labour resources
• Performance manage staff, including providing motivational leadership and handling disciplinary matters
• Manage offloading and loading vehicles according to the traffic management plan
• Relevant training may be given if required to work in other areas of the warehouse.
• Due to location and shifts candidates may need their own transport.

Requirements of the Production Shift Manager

• Strong leadership with good interpersonal and people management skills
• Experience managing a team 
• WAMITAB COTC Level 4 in hazardous waste treatment / transfer is an advantage but not essential
• Good accuracy and organisational skills.
