Production Line Operative

Location: Tamworth
Pay: £12.84 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday (2 shift rotation, 34 hours per week)

• Morning Shift: 06:00 - 13:30 (Mon-Thurs) / 06:00 - 12:30 (Fri)
• Afternoon Shift: 13:30 - 21:00 (Mon-Thurs) / 12:30 - 19:00 (Fri)

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for Production Line Operatives to join a busy manufacturing site in Tamworth. This Production Line Operative role is within the manufacturing industry, offering full training and the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful trial period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Line Operative looking to gain experience in the manufacturing industry with structured shifts and long-term prospects in Tamworth.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating semi-automated production machines
• Handling and pouring chemicals as part of the manufacturing process
• Loading and unloading PCB boards into chemical tanks
• Operating machines to rout finished circuit boards
• Supporting testing and inspection processes
• Processing panels during the fill stage
• Working within the covercoat area when required (applying patches to PCB panels)
• Maintaining strict quality standards and following health & safety procedures

About the Role

• Highly repetitive work, requiring focus and consistency
• Involves working with epoxy resin (adhesive) using precision tools such as air syringes
• Strong attention to detail is essential
• Requires good hand-eye coordination and a steady hand
• Full training provided

Requirements

• Previous production experience beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and able to commit to rotating shifts
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks
