Press Brake Operator

Location: M24 Middleton

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 4:45pm

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for a stable, full-time position with a long weekend every week.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating press brake machinery
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Producing high-quality metal components to required tolerances
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working as part of a busy production team to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating press brake machinery
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
