• Job Title: Assembly Technician – LED Lighting
• Location: Rochester
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: £13.21 per hr / £27,500 per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join a growing LED lighting manufacturer in Rochester.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in lighting assembly or electrical component wiring who is looking to join an innovative and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire various LED lighting products including linear lights, downlights, and custom fittings using technical drawings and work instructions.
• Perform functional and safety testing on finished products.
• Support refurbishment and LED conversion of existing luminaires to meet certification standards.
• Operate workshop machinery such as cutting saws, pillar drills, and injection moulding equipment (training provided).
• Conduct quality checks on components and flag issues.

​Requirements:

• Prior experience in lighting assembly or electrical wiring preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Comfortable using tools and handling electrical components.
