Our client is the world’s largest company focused on the communication needs of the world’s industrial markets. Founded in 1946, their earliest products set the industry standard for durability and reliability. They are currently recruiting for an experienced PCB assembler to work at their facility in Burton upon Trent.

The PCB assembler will be part of a team of technicians & solderers who will be responsible for all aspects of the assembly process. On occasion you will be required to support other activities within production including inspection.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate soldering aptitude through our trade test and once successful achieve high levels of output & quality in equal measure. Excellent tactile proficiency with small components will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand soldering
• Kit preparation
• Continually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality and productivity
• Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials
• Maintain high housekeeping standards
• Basic computer skills (using our QL system to barcode work from the department)

Working hours: 

0730-17.15 Monday to Thursday 37 hour week

Overtime available on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays
