The Best Connection are currently recruiting Part Time General Security Officers to work at Leeds Bradford Airport. • Pay: £11.60p
• Weekly Hours: 21 Hours Per Week
• Example Hours / Shift Pattern (this is subject to change based on business requirements):

     X4 Shifts of 12:00 – 17:00
     X4 Days off
     X3 Shifts of 03:00 – 09:00
     X4 Days off

• Shifts: Roster Pattern (including weekends and unsociable hours)
• Location: Leeds Bradford Airport
• Duration: Ongoing, Temp to Perm Opportunities

• FULL TRAINING PROVIDED (Mon to Fri, 09:00 – 16:00)

Role of a Part Time General Security Officer (once fully trained):

• To carry out full and effective searches of baggage and airport supplies
• To carry out full and effective searches of people
• To carry out full and effective searches of vehicles
• Undertake patrols of the airport terminal & grounds
• To control access into restricted areas of the Airport
• Check identification or travel documents for all passengers, staff and airport users requiring access to restricted areas
• Deal with on-site security incidents with the team
• Operate the x-ray equipment to screen all luggage for both the cabin and hold including other items being carried into restricted areas
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers travelling through the airport

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:

• Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
• Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
• Have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
• Be able to provide a full 5-year address history
• Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
• Be willing to attend Aviation Security Training Courses (Provided by Leeds Bradford Airport
• Have a Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
