The Best Connection are looking for a Parks Attendant for our esteemed client in Cannock.

The role is a great opportunity to join a well established team in the Cannock area completing and carrying out the following duties:

• Litter and Debris Removal: Collecting and removing litter, trash, and debris from streets, parks, and other public areas.
• Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweeps and vacuums pathways, walkways, and roadways using hand-operated tools and/or machinery.
• Public Toilet Cleaning: May be responsible for cleaning public toilets and facilities.
• Hazard Reporting: Identifies and reports potential hazards like broken glass or other dangerous materials.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintains and cleans cleaning equipment, including brooms, shovels, and dust carts.
• Waste Disposal: Transfers collected waste into containers and may assist with disposal at transfer stations.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor Environment: Work is carried out in all weather conditions.
• Physical Activity: The job requires physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting.
• Cleaning areas: Working in various parks across the Cannock area.

More about the role

Location - Cannock

Pay rate - £12.65 per hour

Weekly Hours - Going into the Summer hours (55 Hours per week) Winter Hours 25 - 40 hours.

Daily hours During Summer: 7am - 7pm

Daily hours during the Winter: 8am - 4:30pm

Rota - 2 shift weekly rotation pattern 3 days and 5 days including weekends and bank holidays.
