The Best Connection are currently looking for an experienced Process Operative to work in a pharmaceutical environment in the Hull area. The suitable person will have a background of production and would suit someone with team leader/supervisor/machine operative skills.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Processing Manager, to manage, oversee and manage our production processes. You will ensure efficient and safe operation of production equipment, maintain quality standards, and support the smooth operation of the production line.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Process Operator, you should: -
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment, including dispensing and tube filling.
- Accurately dispense raw materials and products according to company standards and specifications.
- Ensure products are filled and packaged accurately and consistently.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including production logs, quality control reports, and equipment maintenance records.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and other quality standards throughout the production process.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet regulatory and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Coordinate with other departments, including quality assurance and warehouse, to ensure a seamless production workflow.
- Follow safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
Knowledge, Training & Experience
- Proven experience as a Process Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice type systems and practices in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to handle stringent documentation requirements.
- Understanding of Pharmaceutical regulations/ICH guidelines.
