There are multiple job roles available.

Print Assistant

Slitter Operator

Print Assistant Job responsibilities and duties:

• Assist the press operators in setting up and running flexographic printing presses.
• Prepare and stage raw materials such as substrates, inks and plates.
• Clean the machine including the rollers, ink pans and other press components
• Monitor the quality and tell the operator of any inconsistencies
• Help with basic maintenance
• Accurately complete production documentation and job records

Slitter Operator responsibilities and duties:

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications and production schedules
• Monitor slitting equipment during operation
• Load and unload rolls of material suing hoist or lift equipment
• Measure and inspect finished rolls for width, cut accuracy and material integrity
• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain machine efficiency
• Record data, including material usage, output and waste
• Assist with maintenance and cleaning

Preferred experience:

• exposure to production software
• machine operation
• working to stringent production targets
• Health and Safety conscious
• problem solving skills

Working Hours:

36 hours

Rotating Days and Nights

Example:

Week 1: 3 on 4 off Days

Week 2: 3 on 4 off Nights

Week 3: 3 on 7 off Days

Week 4: 3 on 2 off Nights

Pay:

Both £13.00 p/h during Probation

Slitter operator after probation - £15.06

Print Assistant - £14.51
