The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Tramper Driver (C&E) to work with one of our well-established clients based in the CF3 area of Cardiff.
This is an ongoing, full-time position with guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role involves tramping work, with nights out paid at £26.50 per night.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar role preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points – no DR, DD, or IN convictions
- Must be comfortable with nights out and tramping
Duties Include:
- Tramping work across the UK
- Ensuring timely and safe deliveries
- Completing all necessary paperwork
- Communicating effectively with transport office
Pay & Hours:
- £15.15 per hour (PAYE)
- £26.50 per night out
- Monday to Friday
- Start times may vary – flexibility required
- Minimum 40 hours per week
