Temp-to-Perm Positions with Fixed Shift Patterns

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of Waitrose & Partners for Warehouse Order Pickers at their busy Regional Distribution Centre in Maidstone, Kent. These positions offer temp-to-perm placements with consistent shift options:

• Afternoon Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 | £14.61 per hour
• Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 | £15.53 per hour

After 12 weeks of continuous work, you will be eligible to apply for a permanent contract directly with Waitrose.

Key Details:

• Shifts are 5 over 7 days, including most weekends.
• Weekly rotas provided, allowing flexibility with chosen days.
• Full training provided during a Monday-to-Friday induction week.

Role Description:
As a Warehouse Order Picker, your responsibilities will include:

• Working in a warehouse environment, primarily in the Chiller (0 to 3 degrees), Fruit & Veg, or Ambient sections.
• Using a voice pick system to locate and pick items for store deliveries.
• Loading picked goods from caged locations and preparing them for dispatch.

A pre-site tour will be arranged before the training week to familiarize you with the job and working environment.
