The Best Connection are recruiting an Operations & Planning Coordinator for a national client.

The successful applicant will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of the operations at their Middlesbrough site and helping the branch to achieve their goals.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Provide full administrative support to the Site Manager & Production Manager ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities
• To deal with incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers, prioritising responses
• In the absence of the Site Manager to collaborate with Managers ensuring the documents and reports are completed to a high standard.  Ensuring payroll reports are complete, detailing all overtime worked and sent to the relevant departments
• Prioritise safety and company compliance by working in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy whilst always promoting a secure and safe working environment
• Assist where necessary to generate purchase order numbers and streamlining order processing
• Offer assistance in Hire Desk functions, allocating company units when required and organising the delivery of said units

Must Haves

• Previous experience in an Administration environment
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages

Hours of work

• 8.00am -16.30pm
• Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch (unpaid)
